Holding a first-class Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Melbourne, Katie brings advanced expertise in safeguarding and trauma-informed care to every community she serves.
With a strong background in writing, editing, and communications, Katie excels at helping organisations craft and share compelling stories. She has served as Editor at Oxfam Australia and brings deep experience in nonprofit communications and community storytelling.
Katie’s work spans both social impact and the arts — she has worked as a practising artist, art curator, and photography teacher at a First Nations school in Maningrida, Northern Territory, giving her a unique lens on First Nations community engagement and culturally informed practice.
